Gov. Akpabio Arrives Houston, Texas for Akwa Ibom Town Hall Meeting
Contrary to the false information by a group of disgruntled Internet noise makers that Gov. Godswill Akpabio was denied US visa and would not be attending the AIDN organized Townhall meeting, the governor and his entourage arrived Intercontinental Airport Houston (IAH) at about 2.30 pm Central time today, August 4, 2011.
On ground to welcome him were Akwa Ibom State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Hon. Aniekan Umanah; AIDN President, Mr. Clement Ikpatt and Prof. Ekere Essien also of AIDN and a host of others.
Meanwhile, arrangements are in top gear for the Akwa Ibom Town Hall Meeting. An elated Gov. Godswill Akpabio, at the airport, said he will be very glad to meet and interact with the Akwa Ibom people. More developments will be announced later.
